A perfect economic resort in the Maldives that offers budget holidays is the Fun Island Resort, located at just 38 km fromt the International Airport.

Well as the name so clearly states it offers a lot of fun activities in the sun; most of which are water sports activities of the best kind. Such activities include scuba diving, wind surfing, catamaran sailing, canoeing, water skiing, wake boarding, ringo riding, banana riding, submarine diving, jet skiing and excursions to other islands. You definately can't go wrong. :D

The Maldives are certainly not a cheap place, you get what you pay for really, and so much more since it is literally a vacation of a lifetime. Yet there are options to spending; if you want to spend less money the best deal is a full board or all-inclusive package (including certain drinks, both alcoholic and non) that includes flights and transfers. You should look into those. The Fun Island is an excellent choice but there are many more!
