Will a liveaboard take you to places where you can spot grey reef sharks?

Yes they will, spotting grey reef sharks while diving at the Maldives is not at all unusual; and there are some dive sites that are known for having good concentration of reef sharks such as the Makaru Thila. Another thing is that when you go on a night dive you have a bigger probability of spotting one because that's when they are out hunting (not humans dont worry  ); and liveaboards give night time dives.
