The Napoleon Wrasse, a favorite reef fish to spot during a diving liveaboard holiday in the Maldives, is often trapped for fish tanks or the taste buds of human beings...

In order to save these gentle giants and ensure that they stick around for good, follow these simple rules! (And always remember..."TAKE PHOTOS, AND LEAVE NOTHING BUT BUBBLES!" ;) )

Napoleon Wrasse Conservation Status

You can help! Choose wisely.

1. Do not choose threatened species.
2. Give Napoleon Wrasse a break.
3. Do choose hatchery raised reef fish such as Green Grouper and Mangrove Snapper.
4. Do not choose immature wild caught reef fish
5. DO share this information with your friend.
