Addu Atoll is the main economic and administrative centre in the south of the country, and the only place to rival Male in size and importance. Its 28, 000 people spread out over seven inhabited islands is a huge number in the Maldives. The region will play an important role in the future development of the Maldives travel market. Plus let us not forget the obvious; it is an absolutely amazing and beautiful place.
