Does the west part of the Maldives have anything to offer now that the eastern atolls have the greatest visibility?

The eastern part of the atolls do have the best visibility during this time of the year (Northeast Monsoon), yet the western part of the atolls is certainly the place to dive if you are specifically looking for manta rays and whale sharks which are more abundant in those areas. So suit yourself really, the maldives are good for diving anywhere and all year round.
